Pfalzel

Pfalzel is a surprise. Tucked into this unassuming village to the north are the walls and towers of a Roman royal palace (Königspfalz) from the 4th century, later incorporated into church buildings. A quiet Moselle setting, and only a short distance from Trier airport.
