Trier with Kids
Trier is more family-friendly than you might think. The gladiator-themed tour at the amphitheater captivates school-age children, the Spielzeugmuseum (toy museum) right on the Hauptmarkt (the main market square) works from toddler age up, the Roman-themed sightseeing bus rolls through the old town, and the Petrisberg playground has the best view in the city.
